As part of my upcoming solo show this fall, I am working on a series of bird pieces as part of the wider exhibition. One of the largest objectives I have with this new body of work, is to create pieces across a multitude of mediums. Linocut prints were near the top of my list to pursue as they are simple, approachable and have the added benefit of being able to be reproduced on a wider scale!

I’m hoping to complete around 20 unique bird prints in this collection, as well as an assortment of flowers. The relationship between birds, pollinators and flowers is symbiotic and beautiful, so the excitement here to keep building this theme out, is definitely a driving factor to keep creating new and meaningful pieces.

Ive been sharing each print as I make them on Instagram, and there has been quite the warm reception to them. Many inquries came in about how to buy a print or if they are available. Given this, I created a limited edition of each print which are now in my online shop. A big thank you to each and everyone of you who have supported me along the way, with your encouraging words and interest in my work.
